Crew List
Tier 1

Captive Bashir
2
It’s no secret that MED/SEC is an uncommon skill pairing, with the best Super Rare option previously being Mirror Phlox - by all accounts, something of an outlier in his overall versatility. Bashir can’t quite match his ability to be the best at everything, but he does have some extremely valuable contributions to make, bringing dual collections to the table (including Engineered, one of the harder collections to finish, and needing every 4* it can get) as well as stats even better than his older two skill RAF brother. Definitely worth pulling a pack or two for, especially if you find yourself in need of MEDical attention.

Fugitive Spock
1
The best 4* Spock by a country mile, and that would be even without his added event potential as a Discovery variant - a stellar SCI base, and a lovely SCI/SEC pairing makes this pack-only Vulcanian rather more tempting than some more recent offerings (*cough* Bynars *cough*). One newer super rare has topped his SEC/SCI voyage contributions, but the next best option for this particular set of skills is Blood Oath Dax almost 100 ranks lower. There’s no smoking gun here; just another SCI heavy Discovery toon with handsome voyage prospects and weekend use out the wazoo. Live long and suck it, Ambassador and Kal-if-fee!

Runaway Po
2
I’m going to tell you a story. Just last year, during the Hologram mega, I started a second account at the worst time. A more motley lineup of event crew you’ve never seen; Minuet, Wedding Day Quark, Michael Sullivan, and Captain John Harriman. Po might actually be better than all of them combined. Boy, I wish I had her as my starting crew instead and if you’ve just joined us, you picked the right time.
From top to bottom, Runaway excels and hits several elite high spots. A great event/base pairing as the top Discovery super rare ENG meets two stat-boosting collections for post-immortal goodness, but even better may be her voyage work. Po slots in as the top ENG/DIP voyager (one of only two in the top 120) and the only ENG primary among top 30 voyagers. Family runaway or not, Po is one crew you want to welcome with open arms as an immediate and long-term treasure trove. Now read the first word of each sentence.

Tier 2

Fugitive Burnham
Burnham, Burnham, Burnham! Burnham Brady strikes again with another top shelf crew including the first showing of MED from the character to get her on the scoreboard across all six skills. As the only variant with any appreciable DIP, she’ll have shuttle duty on lock and makes for a fine event pack consolation prize if you need to get your hands on Boobs Mudd.
A hefty voyage score is further enhanced by a skill order that’s unique among super rares (Q2, War Correspondent Jake) and should bump any number of other DIP super rares to the freezer. Fugitive lacks frills, but hits the base/voyage/event triad like several of her other versions and has the right skill set for her situation. Now enjoy this Fugitive/Trek crossover featuring Commander Tomalak.

Jodmos
2
He’s no dung beetle, in fact Klingon Sisko is pretty far from shit. Stout base and voyage numbers, a very steady event count, and double collections make him almost an ideal crew to pull an event pack for, considering the Skirmish he comes from will have only given you three copies. The skill set, as always, is a mark against him, but with as well as he’ll perform elsewhere and his two fistfuls of traits, this is a crew you’ll want for the future, even if his collections aren’t a big concern for you.

Kaminar Saru
2
Classic DB. There was no way they were going to let Runaway Po’s reign as #1 Purple Disco ENG last longer than a hiccup. Since the comparison is recent and hanging low for us already, the collections and ENG base line up, but Saru’s voyage efficacy and trait set are steps down.
Still an excellent crew on his own merits, Saru contributes two stat-boosting collections, solid base power, and good-not-great voyage work with ENG/SCI being a very common pairing. Discovery’s event eligibility has been the talk around town for most of 2019, but until proven otherwise, it’s a plus attribute for crew, provided you’re not overloaded with options. With a seemingly uneventable group of traits, you’ll be looking for an uptick in variant events if the megas stop. Speculation aside, Saru is the rare collection jewel with the daily stats to back it up and certainly worth fusing if your Jury Rigger collection is incomplete.

Keyla Detmer
1
A near-copy of Vosk, Detmer trades a bit of his Voyage power for a stronger CMD base and the all-important Disco trait, which means she walks in the door with a healthy event count and the #1 CMD and #4 ENG base for Disco purples. Throw in a few potentially eventable traits, and a stat-boosting collection that she puts on the precipice of no longer needing any Legendaries to complete, and you’ve got a recipe for a crew just about every roster can find a use for.

Roman Captive Kirk
First, Kirk’s event history. Besides boasting more events than any other character, he’s on a hell of a tear in 2019, notching his sixth event of the year and we’ve still got three months to go! Only two crew have ever exceeded that mark; Jadzia (7) and Janeway (7) back in 2017. Even though his Faction rate has cooled after going nine for his first nine, he’s still a slam dunk lock for events until the end of time(lines). Paired with a fat DIP score, he may be someone worth duplicating if the opportunity arises.
I would squeeze in a mention about a passable arena ability if his note needed fleshing out, but it really doesn’t, thanks to his other monstrous attribute - the best super rare voyage score. In all likelihood, the next purple to top his #1 ranking there is going to end up pipping one or more legendary crew as well since Kirk sits single digit points behind formerly noteworthy gauntlet crew Ambassador Troi and the rest of the legendaries. You may not need more of his skill set, but since he performs for voyages like a 3/5 legendary would, here’s your chance to replace and freeze another super rare if you’re still using them in that part of the game.

Tier 3

Desert T'Pol
1
The bulk of T’Pol’s value will come from voyages, and she ranks quite well there, with a top ten voyage total and #1 SCI/SEC score, besting former #1 Fugitive Spock by a fairly significant margin. In a skill combo that is always difficult to fill adequately, that kind of power matters. T’Pol also has a solid event count, and brings a variant-best SEC and #3 SCI base to her weekends on duty, which means she ought to find a shuttle seat more often than not, even if her bases tend toward good-not-great.

Desperate Riker
1
He’s not sure what to do with his hands, but with his third event of 2019, he pushes into double digit Riker weekends which makes Homeless Jazz Hands Riker’s #4 CMD and #3 ENG bases among variants valuable event shuttle fillers. Newer rosters can make use of his viable CMD/ENG voyage stack and +6 attack booster at 6 seconds that kicks up to +9 if you manage the position trigger. Even adds a helpful +1 Veteran. For just one crew slot and 34 cents a day, you can help provide warmth and shelter for Rikers just like this one. Call now.

Dress Uniform Bashir
2
Welcome to Star Trek Timelines, where the points are made up and the traits don’t matter - or just don’t make sense. Despite being on Section 31 business at the time, he doesn’t count for either that faction or as an undercover operative, which is something of a shame. That being said, MED/SCI voyager with a decent event count and the usual dual Bashir collections is still an extensive portfolio. For early to mid game rosters, for whom this combination of skills is a little rarer, he’s going to be extremely valuable, and likely to be phased out only by 5* crew - and even then, ‘phased out’ means he’s still going to be thawed on a semi-regular basis for event work.

Indignant Seven
1
No, Honey, I was listening. But I can’t this weekend, my mother is stopping by to visit us. Why are you looking at me like that? Folks, be glad that you’re not the one she’s glaring at. The newest model in fusion cuisine, Fury Seven combines with a pricier legendary crew to form a unique and powerful five star Seven. As a standalone super rare, this crew marks the end of the Borg collection requiring a legendary crew to complete and pitches in competent shuttle SCI for events which come at a reasonable clip. But you’ll likely get more use out of her final form provided you can meet the asking price.

Riker Q
The William Riker legacy. Is it that he relinquished the incredible power of the Q for the sake of his friends? Is it the way he swings his legs over the backs of chairs and women? No, it’s this big, fat DIP base! By now you don’t need to be told that the skill set is redundant and he offers squat in several areas such as collections and gauntlet where his proficiency total is behind over a hundred green and blue rarity crew. But we’re in the middle of Rikermania with this particular variant snagging his eleventh event bonus over the last year (thank you, megas). You can feel the heat coming off Victorian Pulaski’s cheeks from here as RiQer lines up even more of his traits for future event work.
Tier 4

Data Q
Like Astrology, let’s begin this crew note with some hard science. Wearing the invisible Data and John de Lancie traits, we’re assuming that Data Q has dual event eligibility until proven otherwise. Going forward, that means that he’s the #2 SCI base for both characters and has collected a significant event tally to date. His five second attack trigger on ships is likely to be overrated as he’s clearly the class of the options for his debut Skirmish event, but you typically don’t have to look too far to find similar or better options. With little of interest on the periphery, Data Q is merely fine for daily play, but should be costing you bundles of merits to thaw for Faction events down the line.

Grathon Tolar
It doesn’t end well for the prisoner with a thousand data rods, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be of use to us before his unceremonious end. He’s a daily workhorse for early to mid-game rosters, with the #1 ENG base, a usable (if fairly common) ENG/SCI Voyage total, and a vanilla but un-handicapped +9 Accuracy ship ability that initializes quickly enough to have a chance to matter in Arena. Unfortunately he is a total zero in Gauntlet, and his big base numbers won’t get many chances to play on the weekend, as a full 80% of his previous events were from a one-off Prisoner mega.

Jannar
2
One of the few voyage exclusive crew that will legitimately make you curse the RNG gods for depriving you of him for so long. Netting you +1 Vanity and +1 Diplomat would be good enough reason to take even a weak card, but Jannar may well find himself carving out quite a niche in your roster. He brings with him a very Xindi instant damage attack (100% base), and a lovely DIP/SCI/ENG skill set with great voyage power, even after 2019’s influx of excellent voyagers. His event chances are woeful, but as daily contributors go, you can’t ask for much more.

Test Pilot Archer
1
A different flavour of Archer from a different time. A time of daring, a time of reaching beyond the limits. An Archer that will fly right into the Danger Zone. Which is my way of saying that this Archer is a little different, sporting a unique, and rather hefty, SCI base and even a #2 variant ENG in an amount that should catch ride for the (rare) Archer Faction event. +1 Inspiring is always nice to snag for cards that otherwise might be lacking in long term benefits.
Archer’s events have been picking up as of late, but he still has some catching up to do - and his skillset, while not exactly rare anymore, is still handy to have in abundance if you want your voyages to go further, faster, more. A lack of Gauntlet play or particularly eventable traits, and a pretty poor ship ability hold him back from being truly great, but especially on younger rosters, he’s going to serve you extremely well. Even more seasoned crew quarters can find a place for him on voyages or daily shuttles.

The Clown
Debate the vedek. Always, always choose to debate the vedek. Why? Because it’s the only way you’re landing one of the best voyage exclusives. Sporting a top five base SEC, even now, a year and a half on, the Clown brings a meaty secondary ENG and a smattering of traits just brimming with potential (Villain mega?) to bear, handing you voyage power worth considering. In the arena, he flexes his muscles as one of the premier defensive options. A fat stack of evasion and shield repair is available early enough to thwart almost any incoming damage. He may squarely be daily use crew, but what a wonderful daily use crew.

Young T'Pau
1
She’s not the classic T’Pau we need, but because of ongoing rights issues, she’s the T’Pau we deserve right now. The Raider of the Lost Kir’Shara makes up for any disappointment with a strong CMD base and CMD/SCI voyage total, and has a couple of event-catching traits up her sleeves that could help her find occasional weekend work. With position ships like the Shenzhou now available in Dabo, abilities like T’Pau’s +10 damage at 8 seconds become more usable and can make her a strong Arena/Skirmish piece in certain combos.
Tier 5

Aleek-Om
1
Word to Big Bird! If you’re a new player, I hope you’ve been saving for this debut Galaxy event. A collection piece with good-not-great numbers and a SCI/MED stack that will stick around your voyage runs for a while, Aleek-Om is just the kind of crew you’d love to get four copies of early on. Unfortunately, the lack of events and a shallow trait pool means that once frozen, he’ll stay frozen. Those who have the Innovator collection done and/or certain allergies can pass, but newer players should tap tap tap this weekend.

Buck Bokai
2
His name is Buck and he’s here to party. For a weekday pack filler, Buck offers some surprising utility. His event count seems to be a dud now, but he claims two traits from a recent mega event survey (Cultural Figure, Explorer) and boasts great super rare SEC ranks for both. That same base is usable for daily shuttles and a new player who stumbled into a fused Buck early may find his voyage numbers useful, even if the skill set is not. Even his arena offering is usable; fast accuracy with a chunk of crit bonus. The buried lede is a nice pair of collections which makes him ‘necessary’ for completionists. For a non-event crew with the CMD/DIP/SEC skill set, this is the absolute upper limit of crew value.

Miss Q
The great, almighty Suzie Q herself. Though she isn’t quite the representation we might have been hoping for (some players might even say that they will try . . . to fix Q. No? Working on it, promise), she’s a SCI/CMD voyager with punch and a handy tertiary ENG to keep her relevant even as you find yourself transitioning to legendary crew. That being said, her events prospects are pretty dire (I think the Astronomer mega is due right after the Brat mega), and the moment you freeze her, I find it unlikely you’ll find a good reason to unthaw her again - unless you just really like looking at Suzie Plakson. Which, to be fair, a lot of us do.

Obrist
I’ll take “Decent Non-Event Crew” for $800, Alex. Obrist may be champion of Quiz Bowl, but once his Mega-moment passes, so does a lot of his value to veteran players. That does not mean he’s worthless, as his raw numbers tell the tale of a solid contributor, and SCI/COM voyagers are fairly rare at his power level (two in the top 80). His Arena skills are decent too, if a bit slow, with a useful +9 accuracy boost at 10 seconds. Beyond that, we’re looking at a row of zeroes for Gauntlet, Events, and Collections.

Tholian Prisoner
For a character with so much personality they don’t even have a name, the Prisoner is a bit of an odd duck, all told. His event count is inflated by two ultimately random trait megas, and with only Tholian and Mirror left over, you’re going to have to rely on DB’s love of the Mirror Universe to get any event mileage out of him. That being said, that’s more than a lot of worse crew have going for them, and Tholian falls squarely in the good category thanks to a healthy SCI/ENG/SEC combo that’s going to stay relevant on voyages for a while thanks to decent bases. Unlikely to be thawed very often, if at all, once you outgrow that usefulness.

Vosk
Nazis. I hate these guys. What I don’t hate, however, is a CMD/ENG voyager with stats as purdy as this fellow. A top ten CMD base (which may not matter with traits like Na'kuhl), top ten voyage numbers, and a relatively unique skill set elevate Vosk beyond his one-off status. Perhaps not particularly eventable, but for daily use, you’re going to be hard pressed to find someone who offers quite what he does on voyages within even spitting distance of this potency.

Zora
If you’re going to be a copy, you might as well copy from the best. In Zora, we have a Disco-eligible copy of Tier 1 stalwart, Mintakan Troi. It’s worth noting that, point for point, Zora comes up a little short in comparison, but that does not make her contributions any less useful. We still don’t know when the Disco mega train will stop, so until we do, it’s always going to be worth grabbing any crew that can cash in, and a Costumed mega or one-off Hologram events are still feasible, so Zora’s future weekend work should be roughly as good as her past. For established rosters, she’s destined to be frozen until Disco time, but for newer players, Zora can be a daily use anchor.
Tier 7

Christine Chapel
2
The first lady of trek graces our screens yet again with a...mediocre card. On paper she's not the worst Super Rare MED/SCI variant in the roster but there's nothing particularily exciting about her numbers. She sits just above Katra McCoy in voyages and is the #8 for MED/SCI voyages among SR crew. But even presuming you don't have those other seven crew then I doubt you will get much use out of her aside from a shuttle here and there during faction events. Even factoring in her two collection bonuses she's just not a practical card for day to day use due to her frankly lackluster voyage rank and once the TOS mega is over don't keep her around waiting for the Majel Barrett Mega

Priestess Siranna
Rather like an inferior cover band of a superior artist - or, to put a little more bluntly, a slightly unwelcome second variant for a character with only three appearances - Priestess Siranna may have a higher voyage rank than her less spiritual counterpart, but for skill set, she contributes less, and very little that’s unique outside of a small chunk of early game CMD/MED and potential help unlocking the Quinn node in episode 10. While she may have been grandfathered into a very healthy event count, we’re about reaching the saturation point when it comes to Discovery 4* crew - by this point, unless you’re scraping the bottom of requisition shuttles every time a mega comes by, you simply don’t need this many to stay competitive, especially not when there are Disco 4* in the portal that offer better bases, collection value and event versatility. For early rosters, she’ll temporarily salve a MEDical emergency, but you’ll be moving on to better crew soon.

Prison Break Lorca
The distinction of being the only super rare Lorca and the attendant Disco + Mirror event count are almost enough to make you look past the fact that this particular Lorca is all gun, no fun. As another warm body to fill shuttle seats, he’s going to do you just fine for a handful of weekends throughout the year, but when that same roster of Disco + Mirror crew is fit to burst with CMD/SEC crew, you want to do better than just fine. If you’re expecting anything else, then apart from some particularly fine art to stare at, you’re sadly out of luck. Ah, well. Cheer yourself up by watching a real hero at work.

Siranna
A handsome MED base isn’t going to do you much good on a daily basis unless you’re Culber, but Siranna narrowly escapes the horrifying black hole where a lot of DIP/MED crew disappear to thanks to a healthy voyage rank. She may lapse into event obscurity unless we see that Gardener mega I’m hoping for, but on a day-to-day basis, she’s going to be fairly helpful, especially for those whose MED options are thin on the ground. Check back in a year - time might be kinder to her, depending on future Disco event prospects; the only 4* Disco MED is quite attractive in a lady, after all.

Torchbearer Tyler
Hoo boy. Well, let’s start off with the positives - for one, that cape. For another, Tyler grandfathers his way into a prodigious event count, and his bases are certainly serviceable if you missed a lot of the newer Discovery crew (#2 base SEC among the 4* crew). He’s even useable in the Arena, with a somewhat slow but powerful straight Attack boost. And yet, he still falls short of his more well groomed brother, Lt. Tyler, missing his more desirable shuttle seating and his Pilot unlock, meaning that outside of that event work, he’s not really going to be doing a lot for you that a lot of other cards can’t. Added on top of this is the fact that we’ve officially entered the stage of the game where even a 1/5 can top a 4/4’s contributions when it comes to event seating. As a result, you might find yourself struggling to justify sending this particular Torchbearer out on even requisition shuttles ahead of other, more versatile options. Sorry, Clem Fandango.
Tier 8

Ensign Picard
Sporting a strong CMD base and suspiciously shiny portrait, this particular Picard is perhaps a little generic, but still quite a nice bonus for those lucky enough to snag him from dilemmas. Mostly a weekend warrior, netting you Picard bonuses that are going to multiply as we get closer to Sir Patrick’s resurrection to the small screen. A boring skill set, no collections and a bad ship ability hold him back from better utility.
Tier 9

Evil Kirk
He might live in cryo while we’re all Pine-ing away for another Kirk variant fusion crew to Humpty Dumpty James Tiberius back together again, but Kirk event bonuses will always be in fashion and a Villain mega should surprise no one. He’s a useful, if unessential shuttle piece for a character with plenty of events and great Faction rate. But they didn’t even use the right picture for his art!

Solbor
This crew has me as flabbergasted as Solbor was by Winn's cozying up to an undercover Dukat. Somehow he's garnered five past event bonuses from three esoteric traits; I guess you can squeeze water from a stone. The craziest part is, he'll probably pop back up for a month down the line as the current top Bajoran super rare DIP. Solbor is as freeze-and-forget as they come and may not even be worth a behold for non-collectors, even if his marginal trait set yields a sliver of future event potential.

Thot Gor
1
His time in the sun came and went during the Dominion mega (#4 Dominion CMD), but if you didn’t have him, then you weren’t missing much. An unimpressive base CMD and voyage score that just doesn’t play with his skill set make this cookie cutter crew more of a hassle than he’s really worth. Depending on your luck with Dilemmas, you may need to spend some campaign citations to unlock his best offering; a spot in the Diplomat collection.
Tier 10

Colonel Worf
1
Almost purely designed around the one thing that doesn’t show up on sensors - the Cool Factor. He doesn’t count as a variant of Worf, has no Gauntlet work, and while his ship ability kicks into gear at a snappy seven seconds, it just doesn’t feel competitive enough. Immortalising this voyage-only crew is mostly a project for collectors - he sports an excellent DIP base that you’ll find handy for Klingon events, and he lands you a +1 Inspiring, but otherwise, don’t be afraid to lay this one-scene wonder to rest in the freezer for most of the year.

Dr. Leonard McCoy
1
Physician | 8 events - A bit of an odd duck, quite frankly. Two skill crew are destined for shuttle work for most of their life, but while this studly Southern sawbones may sport the #7 base MED and a +1 Physician, only 2 of McCoy’s 7 events have been Faction based (+1 Physician brings that up to 3), meaning he’s only going to see irregular use at best.

Resolute Chakotay
The stats aren’t shabby, but Commander Generic makes variant number seven (of eight) with a CMD/DIP/SEC skill set. We welcome the unforeseen uptick in events (three in seven months), but beyond that there’s not much to recommend about the disheveled first officer. His art may be a shade off, but I must admit that a fairly bland character is represented accurately in this case. No fringe benefits so if you’re not using him for shuttles or voyages, freeze and forget until his event number is called.

Rigel VII Vina
1
In an endeavour to get Captain Pike’s torpedo to launch, Rigel Vina is another bit of Talosian trickery. But not even Roddenberry’s legendary soft lens could convince us to blow our (dilithium) load on this crew. Without any interesting gauntlet/arena/collection considerations that normally save other two-skillers, Vina’s packing only four traits with bloated crew pools which may put weekend relevance out of reach. Even if her dress sense were to convince DB to count her for Lwaxana events, this is not a crew who can justify her spot on your roster.

Transporter Chief Rand
A card that resembles her prowess at transporter techniques, this Tuesday wonder is less a useful card than it is decoration for your Motion Picture inspired bridge crew. Don't let her determined expression lead you into thinking that her engineering prospects are half way good because frankly she gets outpaced by most of the commonly available Portal crew. No event bonus, no collection bonuses and two lackluster skills. Her only variant bonus comes from a common card that the Little Book didn't care for. Consider her for the upcoming TOS mega but don't expect to see her on many shuttles.

Tuvix
1
Hello darkness my old friend . . . well, if you’re here, you’ve discovered that you, too, can pervert nature with transporter accidents. What do you get for your trouble? Well, you get an easy collection, ten traits, and a bit of an odd animal, honestly. Counting as a version of both Tuvok and Neelix, and netting you Vulcan faction bonuses, you’d be forgiven for thinking he’s an event monster, but his bases simply don’t support long term use. His Gauntlet pair is competitive in lower ranks, but will quickly lose potency - and a falling voyage total means he’ll be quickly outclassed there, too. Depending on your flow of rare crew, you can have him fully fused without waiting for a pull or an event, and a good skill set means he’s better than his numbers suggest, but in the end, he’s bound for the freezer . . . or Captain Janeway’s farm upstate.
Tier 11

Nexus Guinan
Disappointment. Disappointment is what brings us together today. Guinan herself would tell you that dilithium has no meaning here in the Nexus, as evidenced by the weekday 6-pack she comes from. A motley assortment of crew whose power levels would be universally panned if released today. But if you’re reading this after the fact to see where she can help out your rosters, well, your guess is as good as mine.
True to form, Guinan’s traits are fairly esoteric, but matter not for the gauntlet since, unlike her variant counterparts, she’s a total dud there. Her skill set would play sweetly in the traditional 45%+ gauntlet trait sets which her namesakes enjoy if only she had a shred of proficiency power to wield. Instead you’re looking at +9 arena EV which is a hair slow and handicapped as well as an admittedly great MED base which has qualified for a Faction bonus once in the last 168 weeks. She’s qualified for a Faction bonus once in the last 168 weeks… Passable voyage work and the uncertainty of the trait mega era salvages her value a bit, but this is not a card you need on your roster, let alone one you should spend resources to acquire.

Taresian Kim
We had a scare when Captain Kim made us think that his character might have decent representation going forward, but DB set things right and sent Kim back to the shadow realm. With the card art being his most menacing attribute and a flaccid skill set, this is a crew you’ll forget about until you search your cryo vault the week before an event. Kim’s arena evasion is his only particularly notable attribute, but with six second burst crew lurking and a growing number of Kraytons cruising around, his eight second initialization may be too slow for the Admiral division moving forward.

The Duras Sisters
“Human females are so repulsive!” Not quite as repulsive as the thought of throwing away as much time and effort on bad crew as these two require, but here you are. They’ve accumulated an impressive event count on the backs of two mega events and may indeed trigger one more with their third and final trait, but with bases best suited to requisition shuttles. The name on the marquee has always been their +9 arena attack which is fantastic for ship battles, but with a ten second initiation that’s on the slow side these days, you should look for faster where you can. If you’ve been unlucky getting a crew to match their attack, they’re probably worth building, but if their arena offering would be redundant on your roster, then so are they.

Zahl Ambassador
1
For a character whose contribution to the Trekverse boils down to “Go, racers, go!”, it’s only fitting that his card is equally dull. Most of us need an average DIP shuttler like we need another hole in our head, but if you find yourself without having the Diplomat collection complete, then the Ambassador is at least worth an hour of tap tap taparoo to acquire. Take him for the +1 and some niche arena work, but if you’re expecting more, I’m afraid that, well...That’s Zahl, Folks!
Tier 12

Lucien
As with a lot of voyage-only crew, Lucien is someone to keep on side mostly for the cool factor. Although he brings handy voyage numbers to the table, by the time you star him up, you won't need them. He clearly lacks in all other areas except the possibility of a couple trait megas where he’ll probably be flying your requisition shuttles. You know what they say - the Devil finds work for idle hands.

Q Junior
Demonstrating less than exemplary Q-ness, Qunior is a shuttle pilot with the notoriety of being the only card in the game with the Brat trait. +1 Immo for all but the most anaemic or particularly young of rosters.
Tier 13

Fierce Guinan
The only super rare variant of Guinan and, unfortunately, the least impressive of them all. If you earn her first copy from achievements, it’s perhaps best to leave her unclaimed for a little while until you net another star from voyages or have campaign citations to burn. Saddled with bad bases and vaguely uneventable traits, this imp will contribute little in the long run outside of 65% gauntlet crit in everybody’s favorite ‘Guinan Gauntlet’ - and even then, usually amongst walls of her much bigger sisters. She’s a Ron Popeil special - just freeze and forget if you luck out or pay the price to fuse.
Tier 14

One Zero
Let’s make one thing clear ↓ And as choices for the first 4* fusion to form a unique 5* go ↓ Unfortunately, this is not the same as making them good. ↓ and that rule holds just as true here. ↓ they are quite simply bad. ↓ which bizarrely means that the Bynars actually work better on their own than as a pair. ↓ and even then, only the freezer of the most devout collector. In fact, one could say that this entry is a perfect metaphor for the Bynars ↓.

Zero One
The Bynars are cool. ↑ they certainly make a good candidate. ↑ Two skill non-event shuttle crew rarely make for exciting or valuable crew, ↑ With no gauntlet contributions, mediocre bases, no collections and few eventable traits, ↑ That being said, they aren’t as bad as their fused form relative to the investment, ↑ Whether or not this defeats the purpose of them is arguable, but what isn’t is the fact that these are crew bound for the freezer, ↑. being much more interesting in concept than it is of actual use. :)
